“Dream Butterfly” Necklace

“Faith” Necklace

“Open your Heart” Necklace

“Poppies on Cream” Necklace

“Poppies on Purple” Necklace
I am sooo excited to introduce my handmade necklaces to you! I have thoroughly enjoyed creating each of these artful wearables. Each features a tiny print of my original painting covered in resin to protect it from the elements. They are all very different from one another……different chains, lengths, charms, artwork, etc. Check them out at my Etsy shop!
Curious Bunny Punchneedle

”Curious Bunny”
This morning I finished stitching “curious bunny” punchneedle to this felted purse. My fingers are tender….I am not used to stitching, maybe I should stick to attaching my finished designs to wood. I love how it turned out though….not to mention I have a ton of these felted purses. The pattern for “curious bunny” will be available in September.

Whoa! I almost missed out! I waited waaaayyy too late to order my From the Heart calendars. They are SOLD OUT! But thankfully Legacy went on a search of their warehouse and found 20 calendars for me! They will arrive this week so get your order in now! I also ordered the pocket calendar this year…..so handy to carry in your purse!
For you Country Bears calendar fans……not to worry……they, too, are on their way here. I don’t have a picture of the calendar, otherwise, I would have put a picture of it here on my blog. I had ordered the calendars months ago and was worried because I usually get them in July. So I called them last week and the lady said they had my order but she couldn’t understand why it hadn’t shipped yet. I am just thankful they still had my calendars reserved for me, I know how many of you order your calendar from me year after year and I don’t want to disappoint you. By the way….thank you to all of you who order your calendar from me. As soon as the Country Bears calendars arrive I will put them up for sale, too!
Also…..with each calendar ordered….you will receive three beautiful Legacy greeting cards FREE as a way for me to express my thanks!
Ryan’s Big Bass!
posted August 11, 2009

Whoo-hoo that’s a big fish! Ryan and his cousin, David, spent yesterday afternoon fishing and swimming in our pond. Love the expression on Ryan’s face! It was catch n’ release yesterday…..we were hoping they would catch enough blue-gills for a fish fry but it was so hot and muggy that they didn’t fish for very long and decided the water was more inviting to swim in…..can’t blame em……as I sit in the air conditioning inside my studio

Holy Rosary School has an annual auction/dinner every November. They offer many, many great items at the silent & live auction. One of our favorite items on the list was a three-day weekend at our priest’s cabin in Glennie MI. For the past four years we (as a group) have been delighted to have won that bid and spend a weekend in July with our best friends! There is no other word to describe this weekend other than AWESOME! We all love our children dearly but for this one weekend….its just the adults…..yoohoo!
Unfortunately, Fr. Paul is no longer our priest, therefore, he will not be offering his cabin anymore at the auction. We are all grateful to him for the past four years he’s let us take over his wonderful cabin. Many fun (and funny) memories have been made there & we will all treasure those times.

Both of these fleece blankets were very popular items with Books are Fun a few years ago. Many people have emailed me wishing to purchase more of these great fleece blankets. A friend recently brought it to my attention that they are available now at Lakeside Collection for only $7.95 each! What a great deal. You will love these blankets….my family cuddles up in them often. Click here to purchase yours.
