“Snowman with Top Hat”
Acrylic on antique bread board

“Blessings”
Acrylic on antique cupboard door

“Santa with Tree”
Acrylic on antique board
As you can see, I had some fun last week painting these treasures. 99% of the art I create for licensing is done using watercolor paints on paper, so I really enjoy switching it up and working in other mediums. I have been collecting antique bread boards and cupboard panels/doors for a few years now…….my friends use to tease me when I would buy these treasured antiques because I kept buying them but never found the time to paint on them. I love working with acrylics and also love painting on wood. Painting on wood allows me to sand, stain and crackle the piece in order for it to look like it’s been around a 100 years. These paintings are for sale on my site so take a look!
