Front View of Halloween Tote

Back view of Halloween Tote

I finally finished my first punched tote! It turned out really cute, although now that I have completed one, I know the do’s and don’ts of making a punched tote. So, before I offer totes as patterns, I need to work out the kinks. The punching was easy, but the finishing was a bit difficult for me (you should see me with a needle and thread….I was all thumbs!) Anyway, hope you like it……there will be more to come, a snowman to be exact. Look for punched tote patterns available on my site by the new year!

What Autumn Means to Me…….

posted October 20, 2008

Beauty only God can create……

The crunch of leaves underfoot…….

Long hikes in the woods…..

A family camping trip “up north” to Manistee Michigan…….

Spending time together outdoors in the cool air……

More hiking in the woods……….

and playing in the woods…….

and watching…………..

a fun game of family football!!!!!

I hope you find some time this Autumn to enjoy the beauty God has made for us…….

“Boo Bear” punch rug

designed &  punched by Teresa Kogut

I just love how playful this rug pattern is!  It’s a must-have for any bear/halloween lover!

I kept track of my hours & the total is 9.25 hours. I didn’t whip stitch the edges this time which looks must nicer…

only because the corners turned out better than when I whip stitch the edges. If you are interested in how I finished this piece,

leave a comment below & I will email you the directions. For anyone that wishes to punch or hook this rug for Halloween 2008, contact me ASAP

& I will rush the pattern to you. I apologize for not offering this pattern earlier in the year.

Now I am working on my very first punched tote bag. If it turns out like I envision, it will be to die for. Again, it is a halloween design & again, I wish I would

have done this earlier in the year too. I will do a Snowman tote next so there will be plenty of time for you to make it before Christmas.

I will keep you posted……….
